PV Anlage Talstation

Our in-house solar energy - Madrisa Solar

We have installed six photovoltaic systems at various locations on Madrisa to harness solar power and generate some of our own electricity.

Our systems are located at:
• Madrisa-Alp
• Schaffürggli
• Madrisa-Talstation
• Albeina-Alp

Some of these systems are specifically designed for winter use and can efficiently generate electricity even in snowy conditions. Together, they allow us to cover up to 40% of our energy needs, which is a significant step towards a sustainable future.

Our goal: sustainable energy supply for future generations.

Taking responsibility for tomorrow

Sustainability is not just a promise to us – it is an integral part of everything we do. Since 2021, we have been collaborating with the Cleantech Agency as part of a target agreement aimed at continuously improving our energy efficiency.

Since 2021, we have been collaborating with the Cleantech Agency as part of a target agreement aimed at continuously improving our energy efficiency. The experts at the Cleantech Agency support us with their extensive knowledge in energy management. This collaboration allows us to optimize our energy usage, reduce consumption, and actively contribute to climate and environmental protection.

Our goal is to create a sustainable future on the Madrisa - for everyone.

Swisstainable

Swisstainable – our commitment to sustainable tourism

We see sustainability not as a mere goal, but as our responsibility. This is why we are part of the Swisstainable programme, which supports Swiss tourism in its journey towards comprehensive sustainable development.

Being involved in this program sends a strong message about our commitment to environmental awareness and social responsibility. Swisstainable integrates existing certifications and initiatives and makes a sustainable commitment as visible as it deserves to be.

At Madrisa, we have already received an award within the programme for our efforts to make Madrisa more sustainable. This recognition encourages us to continue our work and preserve the Madrisa recreational area for future generations.
