The Kneipp path, at 1,900 metres above sea level, offers a revitalising barefoot experience and is free of charge to all visitors. Strengthen your natural defences, stimulate your blood circulation, and feel the power of nature as you walk barefoot over stones, pebbles, wood, and through mud.
The Kneipp facility at the Öpfelsee, next to the Madrisa-Hof mountain restaurant, makes for a refreshing cool-down in summer.
On the easy hiking trail between the Madrisa mountain station and the Mässplatte, 19 panels with pictures of herbs and information refer to the naturally occurring medicinal plants and their use, as well as to their flowering and fruiting periods, and provide an insight into nature's pharmacy.
