Hiking trails

The Madrisa area offers wonderful hiking and walking trails, some of which you can also use with a stroller. A hiking adventure for the whole family is provided by the new theme trail "Klara on the Alp".

Madrisa circuit tour

The Madrisa circuit tour offers a cross-border hiking experience. This multi-day hike follows in the tracks of the merchants and smugglers who used to ply their trade across these mountain passes.

Prättigauer Höhenweg (long distance trail)

The first stage of the popular long distance hiking trail starts at Klosters Dorf with the gondola ride to Madrisa. With a view back to the majestic Silvretta group, the hike follows into the Rätikon and towards the idyllic Walser mountain village of St. Antönien.

Walking trails on the Madrisa

Option 1:
From the Madrisa mountain station via Untersäss/shepherd's hut to the Zügenhüttli and back to the Madrisa mountain station via the standard route (approx. 1½ hours).

Option 2:
From the Madrisa mountain station via Untersäss to the viewpoint Mässplatte (along the Prättigauer Höhenweg; long distance hiking trail) and back on the same route (approx. 1¼ hours).

Barbecue sites

Barbecue sites can be found, among other, by the Madrisa Land and on the way to the Mässplatte. Firewood is provided.

Viewpoint competition

Follow Dario Cologna's lead, discover 100 unique viewpoints in the Davos Klosters surroundings and collect adventure points that you can exchange for great rewards. Many beautiful viewpoints are located on the Madrisa. More information (available in German only...)
